Gaye Youngman joined a party of 15 people who visited Uganda in February 2014, and was so touched by the children that she wanted to do something to help them. As a home for the boys was desperately needed in the village, this is the project she is raising funds for. At the moment we have to rent two buildings to accommodate the boys away from our village, so we want them all under one roof. We have a home for the girls, altogether around 250 children stay at the school during term time. More children are desperate to board as some of them walk up to 10 miles a day to be educated, plus many times their school meal is the only meal they receive.
