We have a Board of 7 Trustees in the Uk made up of 3 Women and 4 Men who meet twice a year
Our Director is Mr Kaziba Grace known as Uncle Grace.
Grace started with us in 2000 as choir master and accompanied the Children on choir tours to the UK for 6 years.
Grace commenced his role as Director in 2015 and has brought the School up to a very high standard which show every year in our excellent Exam results.
Uncle Grace is married to Flavia who runs our school shop and helps prepare shop orders for the children from their sponsors. They have 2 children together, Josiah aged 7 and Brittany aged 4
Uncle Grace is supported by a Burser/Administrator who takes care of all the Schools day to day financial buisness to keep things running smoothly.
Liz Lansdowne known as Auntie Liz by all at the school.
Liz was a Nursery School Teacher before becoming involved helping in the office about 10 years ago and has run the office full time now for the past 6 years.
Liz deals with all aspects of the day to day running of the Charity with the imput and advice of the Directors and Trustees and is in daily contact with Uncle Grace to discuss any needs that may arise.
Liz leads the Team visit every February for 2 weeks. Sponsors and supporters and anyone who is interested to see what we do are most welcome to join her on these visits. Please contact the office for further information.
Liz also visits the School in June and November to see how everything is progressing, deal with Shop Orders from sponsors and work with children and staff.
The High School section is overseen by Head Teacher Benard (right) and Deputy Head Teacher Alex.
There are 22 Teachers to run the High School Section with a wide range of subjects including Languages, Sciences, Maths and Entrepreneurship.
Classes run form 7am up to 5pm with breaks for play, lunch and supper.
They resume at 7pm up to 10pm for further studies and revision
The high School also have use of a reading room and of Laptops to do computer studies
We have 6 classes in High School with Senior 6 being to A Level standard
Pupils attend outside seminars as part of their learning including a local Agricultural show
The Nursery and Primary section of our School are overseen by
Head Teacher Jamil (right) and Director Of Studies, Teacher Joshua.
The Nursery section has 2 classes of around 50 children in each class. They are taught just in the mornings and at break time they enjoy a cup of hot porridge. Some children stay at School until older brothers and sisters have finished lessons so they can walk home together. They have mattresses in the class for them to have a sleep as they wait.
The Primary section consists of 7 classes and we have 14 Teachers to manage them, teaching the usual range of subjects.
Once the children reach Primary 7, they have extra lessons after supper in preperation for their Exams and to progress to High School.
The older Primary children also take part in weekly debates on a wide range of subjects.
MetroKids Uganda also visit every Monday afternoon to teach Bible stories through plays, games and singing
We couldnt run the School fully without the help of our dedicated Team of non Teaching Staff.
We have 4 Matrons that run the boys and girs dormitorys. Every day they clean and wash clothes and bedding and take wonderful care of the children.
We have 3 Gardeners who help keep the grounds looking clean, tidy and well maintained.
We have 3 cooks who keep the children well fed cooking 3 times a day, 7 days a week. Also we have a lady who washes all the plates and cups and keeps the Dining Room clean and tidy.
We have 2 Guards on full time duty day and night who man the School gates and record everyone who comes in and out.
We have a great team of builders who we can call upon to do any building work or repairs needed
